As a Clinical Science Associate (CSA) in Rare Blood Disorders (RBD) at Sanofi, you will contribute to changing the lives of patients suffering from diseases, primarily in the field of thrombosis and hemostasis. By delivering innovative treatment options, you will truly embody Sanofi's mission.

By understanding product plans and driving excellent execution, you will establish a leadership position in the field of immune hematology.

To deliver optimal treatment options to patients with hemophilia A and B, based on the brand vision of "creating a future where hemophilia patients can do what they want to do," you will lead promotional activities at the area or national level. We are looking for someone who can promote collaboration among team members, actively utilize AI and digital tools, and continue to challenge themselves to build new business models.

-Ideal profile as an RBD Japan CSA: In the specialty care business, you will propose behavioral changes in prescriptions that contribute to a better life for patients. To this end, you will focus your activities on providing information (detailing) that is close to each individual patient. You will aim to be a trusted partner for doctors and medical staff. We also welcome those who enjoy contributing to building the most admired organization in the industry while demonstrating their own leadership.

Role required for RBD HaC CSA

The "Take the Lead" behavior, which is at the core of Sanofi's corporate culture and strategy, is a behavioral guideline that RBD HaC CSA, L2-1 should embody in their daily work. As a field leader in the HaC area, you are strongly required to practice the following four behaviors. This will allow you to serve as an exemplary CSA for the RBD franchise.

Based on the above, the following are indicated as roles:

  1. Commit to improving hemophilia treatment, where long-term prognosis is a prerequisite, and build strong partnerships with doctors and medical staff centered on patients.

  2. Present and implement activity plans based on product and sales strategies to achieve results in your assigned area.

  3. Always make necessary statements and proposals with a positive attitude within the sales office.

  4. Build constructive relationships with IMH and ISA team members active in the same area, and realize information exchange and collaboration with an awareness of synergy.

  5. Set an example for required codes of conduct and ethics, and be able to encourage the behavior of group members.

  6. Be able to accept work at the location required by the company.

  7. Correctly understand the latest internal and external rules and conduct activities with a patient-first mindset.

・Compliance & Integrity: Always check and understand the latest industry rules and Sanofi Policy, reflect on your own actions, and incorporate feedback from superiors and sales office members into daily activities.

・Completion of post-marketing surveillance, side effect/complaint handling, etc.: Reliably monitor and appropriately operate compliance items such as GVP, GPSP, safety information, OUG, quality control, and fair price maintenance.

・Contribution to society through products: Continuously develop appropriate promotions and disease awareness, and contribute to society by delivering products to all patients in need as soon as possible.

・Understand the importance of daily PDCA and be able to complete the execution and reporting defined by the organization.

About you

【Required experience/skills】

・5+ years of sales (especially experience in adopting new drugs at university hospitals) or marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry

・Basic business skills (communication, presentation, negotiation, etc.)

・Basic computer/iPad skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

・Results-oriented: Practice of PDCA cycle to achieve goals

・Leadership: Ability to positively influence and support team members

・Relationship building: Building trust through collaboration with internal and external departments

・Driver's license (in principle)

・MR certification (in principle)

【Preferred experience/skills】

・Experience in charge of products in the hemophilia/thrombosis and hemostasis field

・Experience in KOL/AOL correspondence and speaker development

・Experience in the rare disease field

・Strategic thinking: Ability to plan regional activities based on product strategy
