We are looking for a results-driven Performance Marketing Strategist to lead and manage Owlet’s paid media efforts on a part-time contractor basis. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid campaigns across key digital channels: driving customer acquisition, brand awareness, and revenue growth. You will also serve as the primary liaison to our paid media/growth agency, ensuring strategy alignment, accountability, and performance against defined KPIs.

You will report to the Sr. Director, Digital Marketing and collaborate closely with brand,, sales, and product teams to ensure paid efforts are integrated, insight-driven, and optimized for impact.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own and manage paid media strategy and execution across channels including paid social (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest), paid search (Google, Bing), display, and emerging platforms.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our paid media/growth agency, managing day-to-day communication, campaign briefs, performance reviews, and strategic alignment.
  • Hold the agency accountable to KPIs including ROAS, CPA, CAC, and revenue targets; identify gaps and ensure continuous optimization.
  • Develop and manage media plans, budgets, and forecasts; allocate spend effectively across channels to maximize return.
  • Build and maintain full-funnel paid strategies that support customer acquisition, product launches, seasonal campaigns, promotions, and more.
  • Lead creative briefing and testing across paid channels; partner with brand and creative teams to develop high-performing ad assets.
  • Design and execute A/B testing programs across creative, audiences, bidding strategies, and landing pages to drive continuous improvement.
  • Analyze campaign performance across platforms and surface actionable insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and stay current on platform changes, algorithm updates, and emerging trends in paid media.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with brand, sales, and product teams to ensure paid campaigns are coordinated and on-brand.
