As our Office Services Assistant, you’ll be responsible for processing documentation in to work queues to be accessed by all areas of the business together with a variety of administration tasks and meeting greeting and safely processing all visitors to Cumberland House.

This role will be available on a full-time or part-time basis working 37.5 hours (full-time) or 18.75 hours (part-time) per week.  You’ll work between 08:45 and 17:15 and will be based on-site at our Head Office in Carlisle.  Flexibility is vital and capacity to cover holidays and absences is important.

The Role

You’ll deliver, through attitude and actions, an exceptional customer experience, to meet, exceed and continuously improve standards and quality of customer service to internal and external customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administration tasks; including incoming post, document scanning, document production, straight through indexing, checking/processing of invoices and utility readings together with other administration duties as required.
  • Monitoring and initial supervision of visitors to Head Office to ensure the Cumberland’s security and health & safety obligations are met together with general Reception duties.
  • Printing/enveloping high volumes of customer documentation for all areas of the business.
  • Overseeing production, issue and administration of HO security ID badges/fobs
  • Procedure manual maintenance
  • Production of Flow Charts/PowerPoint presentations

About You

We’re looking or someone with excellent PC/inputting/Microsoft skills (Word and Excel), attention to detail and accuracy as well as the ability to work as part of a team or work alone. You’ll be:

  • Customer focused, with the ability to work to deadlines and meet service level agreements
  • Flexible to provide cover for colleagues and adaptable to change
  • Aware of the importance of confidentiality
  • Well organized and able to plan your day effectively

You’ll have experience of working in an efficient and highly productive manner, seeking to challenge and improve processes undertaken by you and within your team, to ensure a high level of productivity.

Experience in a similar role is desirable.
