NDO Specialist Offshore

5 day weekGenerous PTOOnsite · Rotterdam, Netherlands

What will you do?

You will work at various locations, both in the Netherlands and abroad, where you perform inspections using both standard and advanced NDO techniques. An important part of your work takes place at hard-to-reach locations, such as at height, where you use Rope Access. Working at height is therefore no problem for you!

In addition, you ensure that the results of the inspections are accurately recorded in various reports. Because we work according to the four-eyes principle, you will also cross-check and verify your colleagues' reports for accuracy.

Applus+, market leader in Non-Destructive Testing (NDO), is looking for a versatile inspector. In the role of NDO Specialist you conduct inspections independently and work primarily on Offshore projects. You also regularly support other departments, which provides a varied range of tasks. In the Offshore department we work extensively with digital radiography, so knowledge of this or willingness to develop this skill is essential. Are you someone who doesn't give up easily? Then we cordially invite you to apply for this challenging position!

What are we looking for?

  • NDO Specialist with basic certifications such as MT/PT/UT/VT and (digital) RT level 2;

  • Additional advanced certificates such as ACFM / TofD / Incotest or Phased Array are a plus;

  • You are willing to pursue additional training, such as Rope Access;

  • Independence, a proactive customer and service-oriented attitude best describe your character;

  • For this role, good communication skills in Dutch and English are a requirement;

  • Finally, we ask for flexibility regarding working hours.

What do we offer?

  • Immediately a permanent contract upon start;

  • A good salary commensurate with your experience and qualifications;

  • A 13th month;

  • Excellent secondary employment conditions according to the Metal and Electrical Engineering collective agreement;

  • Various training and development opportunities;

  • 40 days off per year;

  • Opportunities to participate in a Lease Bike Plan or, for example, collective health insurance.
