NDO Operator

As an NDO Operator, you perform inspections and examinations to ensure the quality and integrity of materials, structures, and installations. You work primarily on-site at client locations, where safety, accuracy, and quality are paramount. Using established examination methods and procedures, you assess objects and installations and document results. You work independently, but also regularly collaborate with colleagues and clients to successfully complete assignments.

Your responsibilities:

  • Prepare and perform non-destructive examinations according to established examination methods, procedures, and standards;

  • Prepare, inspect, and where necessary calibrate materials, tools, and measuring equipment before starting work;

  • Pre-treat surfaces to be examined, such as cleaning and degreasing, so that measurements can be performed correctly;

  • Perform various NDO methods and carefully collect, interpret, and assess examination results;

  • Document findings in clear and accurate examination reports according to applicable guidelines;

  • Coordinate the execution of work with the client or principal and contribute to a pleasant working relationship on-site;

  • Work in accordance with applicable safety, environmental, and HSQE regulations and ensure safe execution of assignments.

Your profile

Our future NDO Operator has the following competencies and characteristics:

  • RT2, MT2, UT2, PT2 certificates;

  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience;

  • Willing to pursue additional training;

  • You are independent, proactive, customer- and service-oriented;

  • You have good communication skills in Dutch and English;

  • Resident in (North) Netherlands (Beverwijk region);

  • In possession of a category B driving license;

  • Flexible regarding working hours.

You will join a team of 12 inspectors who form a close-knit and dynamic team. Various activities are organized annually from the region to strengthen team spirit. If you like to roll up your sleeves and think it would be fun to work in the dynamic world of NDO, you are warmly welcome.
