About the role

As an MSL within our One Rare team, you will support and actively shape the Rare Diseases & Rare Blood Disorders division (Medical Affairs, Specialty Care) and its product pipeline. In this role, you will also be co-responsible for the launch of new indications. This is a high-responsibility hybrid Medical Manager/MSL role for all of Austria, covering various aspects of Medical Affairs. You will work in an Alpine setting (Switzerland & Austria). Key Responsibilities:

  • Point of contact for internal and external stakeholders (hematologists, dermatologists, allergists/immunologists, gastroenterologists, pathologists, and others) in the field of rare diseases during the pre-launch phase and after product launch
  • Development and implementation of indication-specific projects
  • Close collaboration with Medical Affairs, Marketing/Sales
  • Communication of medical-scientific information to various healthcare professionals and handling of customer inquiries
  • Planning and execution of symposia, advisory boards, training sessions, and other strategic, scientific events
  • Preparation and delivery of scientific presentations for the products managed, as well as training and coaching of internal and external target groups
  • Active participation in national and international congresses

About you

Experience:

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry in the field of Medical Affairs
  • Experience in the field of rare (blood) diseases is an advantage

Soft Skills / Technical Skills:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills as well as a confident demeanor
  • Customer-oriented thinking and acting
  • Independence, self-motivation, and analytical skills
  • Team spirit, assertiveness, and negotiation skills
  • Category B driver's license

Education:

  • Completed university degree (Human Medicine, Pharmacy, or Natural Sciences)

Languages:

  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills are a prerequisite

The salary range for this position is :€63’520.00 - €84’693

Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
