We are looking for a Deck Seaman to join our fleet in Brazil, which is in full expansion.
You will have the opportunity to work on a fleet of modern vessels with high technological capacity, and participate in dynamic and highly complex operations, such as:
· Anchor handling and torpedo launching on AHTS vessels;
· Inspection, maintenance, subsea construction and saturation diving on RSV, CSV, DSV and MPSV vessels;
· Flexible line deployment on PLSV vessels.
Main responsibilities:

Familiarize yourself with cargo handling equipment and operate it when necessary, provided you have received training;

Perform services necessary for vessel conservation such as treatment, cleaning and painting of the deck and superstructure;

Perform maintenance services on the vessel's safety and lifesaving equipment;
-
Assist during mooring, anchoring, suspension, berthing, unberthing, dry dock entry and exit and other operations related to vessel activity, as requested by your supervisor;

Check mooring conditions, cables, gangway ladder, boarding ramp, safety nets, etc. and report any irregularities observed to the Officer on duty;

Hoist and lower flags;

Maintain properly filled and signed access control and observe visitor entry and exit times;

Cargo Loading and Unloading Operations:
-
Prepare the deck to receive cargo at the port, clearing the area;
-
Assist the Officer on duty in inspecting cargo conditions and stowage location;
-
Supervise port workers to ensure they comply with safety standards such as PPE use, smoking prohibition, etc.;

Report to the Officer on duty any signs of violation or irregularities observed in the cargo;
-
Provide material necessary for cargo securing;
-
Assist the Chief Officer in verifying cargo securing before departure;
-
Remove cargo securing when requested;
-
Check that your "Maritime Health Certificate" is valid and ensure that its renewal is completed before expiration;

Participate in integrated work details;
-
Work carefully and technically, using the necessary PPE to perform your duties safely and requiring others involved to do the same;

Know your function and others described in the vessel's emergency work details master table;

Inform yourself about the distribution and operation of the vessel's safety and lifesaving equipment;
-
Participate in risk assessments before activities.
Your responsibility is to perform your tasks punctually and within the company's quality standards.
Location:
This is a position that will be performed offshore aboard one of our fleet vessels on a 14x14 or 28x28 rotation schedule.
