About the Job

We are looking for a Manufacturing Operations Operator to join our non-sterile production team in Cairo. The candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring solid dosage pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, ensuring full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures, and approved instructions, contributing to the achievement of production and quality goals.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing Operations

Operate solid dosage pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely.

Convert powdered raw materials into granules used in the production of tablets and capsules.

Execute various manufacturing processes, including:

Wet and dry granulation.

Drying.

Sieving.

Powder blending.

Tablet compression.

Tablet coating.

Capsule filling.

Execute all manufacturing steps in accordance with approved batch records and work instructions.

Complete and sign manufacturing records accurately and on time.

Contribute to achieving production plans and departmental weekly targets.

Quality and Regulatory Compliance

Ensure the application of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements at all stages of manufacturing.

Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and approved quality requirements.

Take appropriate actions to prevent product mix-ups or cross-contamination.

Verify the validity and calibration of equipment before starting operations.

Maintain the accuracy and completeness of operational and production records.

Equipment Operation and Monitoring

Perform periodic equipment checks before and during operation.

Contribute to troubleshooting and resolving operational issues.

Report any deviations or operational issues immediately to the relevant management.

Participate in investigations, root cause analysis, and the implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

Perform cleaning, setup, and line clearance operations before and after production.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)

Full compliance with the company's approved Health, Safety, and Environment policies and procedures.

Apply equipment safety checklists periodically.

Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while working.

Adhere to waste management procedures and optimal resource utilization.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Additional Responsibilities

Perform any other tasks assigned by management.

Adhere to Sanofi values, code of conduct, and professional ethics.

Respect personal data protection requirements and information confidentiality.

Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.

Required Qualifications

  • 1 to 5 years or more of experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing field, preferably in solid dosage production or related granulation and manufacturing processes.
  • Educational qualification: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A technical diploma or a qualification relevant to the industrial or pharmaceutical field is preferred.

Languages

  • Proficiency in Arabic.
  • Basic level of English.
