As a Maintenance Technician, you will ensure the preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment, participate in troubleshooting, and contribute to the continuous improvement of facilities to ensure their performance and reliability, all while strictly adhering to group procedures with safety as the #1 priority.
Work Organization:
The position follows a 7-month rotation cycle:
- 4 months on a 2x8 shift schedule
- 2 months on a night shift
- 1 month on a day shift or covering for leave
This organization allows for a good variety of tasks and complete immersion in the operations of the production site.

Activity 1: Perform corrective maintenance
- Intervene at the request of the Team Leader and/or molding/marking adjusters and/or the direct supervisor on tools currently in production
- Analyze, repair, or replace defective components
- Report: Analysis summary (nature of the breakdown, duration of the intervention, resources used, etc.)
- Organize interventions in compliance with safety rules
- Write technical intervention reports
- Update the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Respect applicable methods and procedures
- Participate in and provide updates during team meetings
Activity 2: Perform preventive maintenance
- Ensure the monitoring and organization of interventions in compliance with set deadlines, taking operational constraints into account
- Conduct safety and environmental audits (5S) in all technical areas and report measured discrepancies to the direct supervisor
Activity 3: Perform improvement-oriented maintenance
- Contribute to the improvement of production tools and maintenance procedures by reporting recurring technical issues and associated solutions
- Participate in and solicit discussions with different stakeholders depending on the issues encountered to reach an optimal solution
- Carry out interventions yourself or organize interventions and have them performed by third parties based on the required skills
Activity 4: Carry out production changeovers
- Participate, in coordination with production teams, in tool changes and the adjustment of automated equipment
Activity 5: Lead a work cell
- The maintenance technician may be required to lead or participate in leading a work cell. This activity will depend on the specific work cells involved
Skills (Ability to)

Associated Knowledge
- BAC +2 (Associate degree equivalent) in maintenance
- Read plans, diagrams, and technical manuals (including in English)
- Knowledge of electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, automation, robotics, and vision systems
- Provide written and oral reports
- Analyze a breakdown, perform a diagnosis, and then intervene
- Use the computer tools necessary for the role (machine programming, CMMS)
- Knowledge of the 5S method
