Job Description
Main activities and challenges:
- Incident management and support
- Troubleshooting/bug fixes
- Develop and maintain crawlers/scrapers for efficient and scalable data capture.
- Ensure the quality, security, and governance of captured data.
- Monitor and track performance indicators (structured logs, alerts, and tracing).
- Document processes, workflows, and technical decisions.
- Integrate different data sources (APIs, relational and non-relational databases, message queues).
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Knowledge of Python and interest in working with data capture and support.
- Knowledge of AWS, especially services such as SQS, Lambda, ECS, EC2, S3.
- Basic knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Git.
- Familiarity with basic Docker concepts.
- Good learning ability, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Good communication and willingness to work in dynamic environments.
Desirable/differentiators:
- Familiarity with data capture stacks (Selenium, BeautifulSoup, Requests, etc.)
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow).
