As an Inspector, you are a key link in our contact with clients. You not only prepare inspection programs and advice, but you also carry out these inspections and report your findings to the client.
Your days will mainly be filled with:
- Collecting and analyzing data and documents;
- Classifying equipment based on properties and conditions;
- Drafting inspection plans and programs;
- Determining the condition of equipment through visual inspection;
- Performing assessments and checks during the manufacturing, repair, and modification of equipment;
- Checking the operation of safety valves and instrumental safety systems;
- Supervising the execution of trials and tests;
- Analyzing the results of investigations, trials, and tests;
- Determining final conclusions and reporting your findings.

Your profile

Furthermore, you have a no-nonsense mentality and function excellently both independently and as part of a team. Finally, you have the following in your toolkit:
- IKT-2 diploma (additional certificates, such as VT-2, API 510, API 570, EEMUA 159, and IWT are a plus);
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position;
- One or more other relevant certificates, such as VT-2, API 510, API 570, API 653, EEMUA 159, ASME, and MLT/IWT;
- VCA VOL;
- A category B driver's license.
About the department
The Inspection & Certification department provides a wide range of services in the field of inspection and conformity assessment of pressure equipment, pipelines, and storage tanks. Primarily within the (petro)chemical industry and energy sector. The Inspector's work area covers a wide variety of locations in the Northern Netherlands, with the three Northern provinces (Friesland, Groningen, and Drenthe) being where you will mainly work. Occasionally, this may also involve short-term projects abroad.
