We are seeking a motivated and collaborative individual to join our team as an Information & Insight Manager. This is a key management role within the Division of Development and Alumni Relations (DDAR), critical to the direction and success of fundraising, volunteering, alumni engagement, supporter communications and the delivery of insight-led activity in support of University strategy and the Challenge Accepted campaign.
Following our 200th anniversary, the University has launched its first ever fundraising and volunteering campaign, Challenge Accepted, bringing together alumni, donors, staff, students and civic, industry and community partners to tackle the world’s toughest challenges and transform lives locally and globally.
You will be responsible for:
- Ensure the alumni and supporter CRM and related systems deliver high-quality services to colleagues and supporters working across the University’s engagement, volunteering and fundraising agendas;
- Embed and model a data-driven culture within DDAR, and advocate for effective and joined up use of information across the University;
- Drive the use of insight and analysis to guide strategy, operational delivery and continuous improvement;
- Oversee the development and delivery of divisional and campaign reporting;
- Lead and develop a high-performing Information & Insight team that effectively supports and enables the work of the Division and University.

Essential Criteria:
- Significant experience of information management, insight, reporting and analysis within a complex organisation;
- Experience of leading and developing high-performing teams;
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities;
- A commitment to using data and insight to drive evidence-based decision making.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience of working within higher education, fundraising, alumni relations or a comparable environment;
- Knowledge of CRM systems and associated data management processes;
- Experience of identifying and implementing best practice in information management and insight, including opportunities presented by AI.
