Health & Safety Cluster Manager

We are looking for a Health & Safety Cluster Manager  (all genders) who will manage Health & Safety areas in the logistic warehouses in Poland.

Location of the role - Bydgoszcz

WHY YOU SHOULD BE INTERESTED…

  • Monitoring occupational health and safety conditions and conducting occupational health and safety inspections onsite.

  • Cooperating with the social labor inspection and company trade unions on occupational health and safety and fire protection.

  • Support the implementation and continuous development of Zalando H&S Standards across logistics sites

  • Liaise, support, and cooperate with the local 3PL H&S management within the cluster, in order to achieve full local compliance to Zalando Standards

  • Follow up on H&S performance through KPIs, defining and monitoring action plans for improvement. Also collecting and sharing best practices within the cluster.

  • Audit the H&S activities in the logistics operations within the cluster to identify and evaluate threats and risks. The information is used to challenge, recommend, and coordinate implementation of effective actions.

  • Visit all locations regularly and perform all activities in accordance with local laws and practices, standards and culture. You are able to travel for approximately 35% of your time

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF…

  • Excellent knowledge of occupational health and safety and fire protection regulations with a minimum of 3 years working experience.

  • A highly motivated person who is passionate to collaborate in multiple teams with a multitude of stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.

  • You are an excellent communicator in both English and Polish (any further European languages are a huge advantage).

  • Your working methods show a high sense of responsibility, quality and customer focus as well as solution orientation.

  • You are an open-minded individual who embraces diverse perspectives, fostering a collaborative environment to drive innovation and excellence in health and safety practices within our logistics operations.

  • You are keen on using data to base decisions on and you consider all the facts and perspectives before drawing conclusions.

  • Analytical skills are essential for this position.

  • And to facilitate the analyses we require high proficiency in all G-Suite/MS Office applications and the ability to learn and use new applications fast.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Relevant Bachelor or Master degree, as well as knowledge in H&S management

  • Professional experience in the area of H&S,preferably previous Logistics experience for health and safety data management.
