About the role
As Head Supply Chain APU within our FBC SC Unit Fill & Finish team, you will ensure the feasibility and reliability of the packaging plan in the short term, manage short-term priorities, identify and report short-term deviations, implement decisions from the S&OE process, and manage variant management including batch allocation. You will ensure the optimal assignment of batches to packaging orders while complying with regulatory requirements, develop efficient campaign plans to balance supply security and cost efficiency, and drive continuous improvement by escalating optimization potential and applying SMS 2.0 standards through regular Gemba walks. Key responsibilities
- Responsible for the feasibility, reliability, and order sequence of the packaging plan in the short term, as well as managing short-term priorities and implementing S&OE decisions
- Identification and reporting of short-term deviations (yield/delays/scrap) at the DP/FG level with potential impacts on the planning horizon and OOS risks
- Management of variant control and batch allocation within and beyond the planning horizon for the optimal assignment of batches to packaging orders in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ensuring efficient, campaign-based plans to balance supply security and cost efficiency, as well as escalating improvement potential for processes and data as part of continuous improvement
- Ensuring the application of SMS 2.0 standards (role cards, standard work plans, processes & data management) through regular Gemba walks and process confirmations
- Leading the APU-MPS process as the main point of contact and a central member of the APU leadership team; participating in or leading Level 2/3 meetings, QDCI, and Level 1 CI meetings
- Ensuring HSE standards in the Supply Chain PCU, monitoring performance, contributing to the further development of PCU members, and participating in the Site Supply Review, monthly Site SC Performance Meeting, and Site Capability Review
About you

Experience: Experience in scheduling, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, with proven competence in planning and coordinating with stakeholders as well as decision support for production lines

Soft skills / Technical skills:
- Interpersonal skills: Ability to collaborate with various partners within site functions, gather information, and assess feasibility
- Proficient in using the ERP planning system (SAP), ability to analyze data and develop countermeasures, and create recommendations for decision support

Education: Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable field

Languages: Fluent in German and English

The salary range for this position is :€79 104,00 - €105 472
Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
