We are looking for an engineer with genuine AI curiosity who wants to work at the intersection of technical delivery and client problem-solving. As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Brightbeam, you will participate in discovery sessions, build functional prototypes that answer real questions, and develop the skills to own client technical relationships over time. This is the role where strong engineers become expert technical advisors.

You will be guided by senior colleagues as you grow – but you will be working on real enterprise AI projects from day one, building things that shape client outcomes and Brightbeam's reputation.

Key requirements:

  • 3+ years in technical roles with some client-facing exposure

  • Evidence of building prototypes or functional software in real business contexts

  • Sufficient engineering capability to build functional prototypes without supervision

  • Genuine curiosity about AI with evidence of practical experimentation

What we offer:

  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects across regulated industries

  • A clear progression path from FDE to Senior and Principal level

  • Four-day working week and fully remote model

  • Monthly team gatherings and regular client engagement

  • A culture built on showing not telling – your work speaks for itself

How to apply:

Submit your details via and include your CV with a brief cover note explaining why this role interests you, what you would bring to Brightbeam, and one specific example of how you have used AI tools to improve your work. Quality over length.
