Job Description
We are looking for a Specialist to lead the revenue recognition process in the Financial Services Center, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and full compliance with IFRS 15.
The position plays a strategic role in the evolution of the internal controls environment toward SOX standards, combining strong execution capability with process vision and focus on automation and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the revenue recognition process in accordance with IFRS 15, ensuring its correct application and operational sustainability
- Evaluate contracts and business models, considering accounting and regulatory impacts
- Structure, review, and strengthen the internal controls environment, with focus on the maturity journey toward SOX
- Identify risks and define mitigating controls in a structured manner
- Develop and implement control and operational process automations
- Work in an integrated manner with areas such as Finance, Tax, Legal, Commercial, and Technology
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring robustness and compliance of processes
Differentials
- Experience in financial or systemic transformation projects
- Experience with ERPs (e.g., Oracle EBS, SAP, or similar)
- Track record of working in governance evolution environments (pre-SOX → SOX)
- Knowledge of tools and application of artificial intelligence for process automation, as well as in the structuring and optimization of internal controls
Qualifications
- Completed degree
- Advanced English
- Solid technical knowledge of IFRS 15
- Experience in internal controls environments focused on the SOX model
- Process vision and continuous improvement
- Experience with control automation
- Good communication and ability to interact with multiple stakeholders
