Key Responsibilities:
- Listen to machine-generated English (India) transcriptions and accurately identify errors or inconsistencies.
- Edit and correct transcriptions, ensuring they reflect native-level fluency and authenticity.
- Record yourself reading the final transcription using your laptop’s microphone in a quiet environment.
- Deliver clear, natural, and expressive voice recordings that follow project guidelines.
- Maintain high standards for audio clarity and data quality with every submission.
- Collaborate with the customer’s team to provide feedback on recorded content and improve data collection processes.
- Uphold confidentiality and data security procedures throughout your work.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Native proficiency in English as spoken in India, with a keen ear for regional nuances and idiomatic expressions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; you care deeply about clarity, accuracy, and expressiveness.
- Ability to recognize and correct errors in machine-generated transcriptions efficiently.
- Comfortable recording high-quality audio with standard laptop microphones—no professional studio required.
- Access to a quiet recording environment free from background noise.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to follow technical guidelines precisely.
- Commitment to maintaining data privacy and security standards at all times.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a recording specialist, voice artist, or similar audio-related roles.
- Familiarity with speech transcription, voice-over, or linguistic data projects.
- Understanding of regional dialects, accents, and pronunciation variations within Indian English.
