micro1 is engaging Electrical Systems & Field Operations Specialists to contribute expertise to a customer's project focused on electrical and field operations. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a hands-on background in designing, maintaining, troubleshooting, or managing electrical systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical, as assignments will involve interpreting visually detailed technical documentation and providing clear, actionable insights.
Scope of Work
- Analyze, interpret, and explain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control system documentation for AI system training purposes.
- Review, annotate, and validate technical materials such as equipment layouts, inspection reports, and operational procedures.
- Evaluate electrical troubleshooting scenarios and document analytical approaches and solutions using industry best practices.
- Assess and clarify technical manuals and field operation guides, ensuring content accuracy and clarity for non-expert audiences.
- Provide detailed feedback on documentation quality related to field operations and electrical systems design.
- Collaborate asynchronously to share technical context, insights, and practical scenarios that reflect real-world challenges.
- Contribute to the refinement of workflows and processes by communicating technical nuances and identifying information gaps.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven expertise in electrical systems, control systems, automation, instrumentation, or field operations environments.
- Experience interpreting and producing technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and operational documentation.
- Backgrounds such as Electrical Engineer, Controls Engineer, Automation Engineer, Instrumentation Engineer, Electrician, or Maintenance Supervisor are highly valued.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Strong attention to detail when working with visually dense technical documents.
- Previous participation in technical documentation review, process optimization, or field data analysis is a plus.
- Comfort collaborating remotely in a digital-first, asynchronous project setting.
