E&I Technician

About the job

As an E&I Technician, you are co-responsible for the maintenance program to maximize the efficiency and performance of electricity and instrumentation (E&I) equipment. You will perform general preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance within the utilities and sustainability department. You will work closely with engineering, as well as the various maintenance and production departments. You will work according to the applicable quality and safety guidelines, all within the established planning.

Main responsibilities:

  • Expert role in the field of E&I systems, including medium-voltage equipment.
  • Supports the supervisor/system owner and technicians with technical expertise in the field of electricity (including medium voltage) and instrumentation.
  • Supports maintenance projects and shutdowns.
  • Performs fault analysis and resolves malfunctions in production-related automation systems (Siemens S7 and Emerson DeltaV) and measuring instruments.
  • Documents knowledge and acts as an internal trainer to ensure the continuity and quality of the maintenance process.
  • Follow-up of work performed by external companies.
  • Documenting work in maintenance software.
  • Performing work in a cGMP pharmaceutical environment.
  • You take ownership of safety, order, and cleanliness in the workplace.
  • Ability to successfully complete specific assignments/improvement initiatives.

About you

  • You have obtained a bachelor's degree in a technical field or are equivalent through experience.

  • You are versatile and can be deployed for E&I assignments as well as tasks in the field of measurement and control technology.

  • Knowledge of frequency drives and measurement and control systems.

  • Knowledge of automation systems such as PLC (Siemens S7) and DCS (Delta V).

  • Experience with industrial communication systems (Profibus, Fieldbus, Profinet, etc.).

  • Experience in a technical role in the pharmaceutical sector or experience working within a cGMP environment is a plus.

  • You are proficient with a PC: MS Office, etc.

  • You are a team player but can also work well independently.

  • You have strong communication skills.

  • You have a flexible, collegial attitude.

  • You participate in an on-call system.

The salary range for this position is :€54.605,04 - €81.907,55

Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
