Job Description
Role mission
Build, integrate and sustain the features of the decision engine, ensuring technical quality, delivery within the established deadlines and the continuous evolution of the solution in production.
Hard skills
- Senior backend development in the stack language (Go, Java, Python or Node), preferably Go.
- Integration via REST API with third-party systems: anti-fraud engines, AML (PLD) and credit scoring
- Asynchronous processing and messaging (event queues, pub/sub) for actions that run after the decision
- Transactional data modeling, relational and NoSQL databases
- Automated testing and CI/CD
- Familiarity with the AWS cloud environment
- Desirable: prior experience with critical decision engines, fraud prevention or AML (PLD)
Soft skills
- Autonomy to execute without micromanagement. Reports progress quickly and directly
- Points out risks or gaps before delivering. Does not hide problems
- Adapts quickly when priorities change
- Collaborates well in a small, lean team (the team starts with 2 people and grows by phase)
- Objective communication in daily meetings and status updates. No long reports
