Responsibilities:
- Informing and advising the Bank's management bodies and employees regarding obligations concerning personal data protection;
- Monitoring compliance with applicable legislation and relevant internal policies;
- Advising and supervising the process of conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA);
- Cooperating and maintaining the relationship with the competent supervisory authority;
- Managing and monitoring personal data security incidents (data breach), including the assessment of notification obligations;
- Monitoring compliance with the rights of data subjects and related processes (right of access, rectification, erasure, objection, etc.);
- Assessing risks associated with data processing activities and formulating compliance recommendations;
- Reviewing data protection aspects in relationships with suppliers and third parties, including data transfers;
- Monitoring the implementation of security and compliance measures regarding data processing;
- Organizing and conducting staff training and awareness activities;
- Participating in the compliance assessment of the Bank's new products, services, and projects from a data protection perspective.
Candidate Requirements:
- Higher education in law, IT, information security, or related fields;
- In-depth knowledge of national and European data protection legislation;
- Relevant professional experience in areas such as compliance, risk management, legal, audit, or data protection;
- Ability to identify, assess, and manage compliance risks associated with personal data processing;
- Knowledge of Privacy by Design and Privacy by Default principles;
- Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and training skills;
- Professional integrity, objectivity, and the ability to act independently in the exercise of duties;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;
- Fluent in Romanian and English.
