Job Description
Role Purpose:
Design, develop, and maintain data engineering systems and processes that ensure efficient ingestion, transformation, storage, and availability of information for the DA HUB of SPLatam. This role is key to enabling analytical platforms in the cloud, ensuring data quality, and promoting innovative practices that drive digital transformation and data democratization in the region.
Main Functions of the Area:
- Design and implementation of Data Engineering-related processes such as:
- Definition and implementation of data flow
- Data exploration
- Optimization / Automation of Processes/Routines that generate efficiencies in analytical processes.
- Application of DataOps-based practices
- Ensure the lifecycle of analytical platforms from:
- Design of architectures for ESS & analytics products that integrate both Experian services and platforms and Cloud provider services
- Implementation and maintenance of platforms
- Platform assurance and governance
- Incorporation of continuous innovation leveraging advances in Cloud technology, Big Data, GenAI, among others.
- Support for Ascend Analytical Sandbox Customers:
- Executing friendly onboarding for our customers
- Support in understanding data structures, platform management, and efficient use of it
- Cost optimization ensuring correct understanding of customer needs
To achieve its objective and fulfill its functions, the area has the following profiles and positions:
- Data Engineers and analytical platform administrators
- Ascend Technical Experts
- Technical leader of analytical products and platforms such as Ascend.
Role Responsibilities:
- Design and manage data ingestion, transformation, and access processes (structured and unstructured), ensuring efficiency and reliability.
- Generate value from data through the creation of meaningful attributes and transformations for products and services.
- Ensure data quality by implementing control and validation mechanisms.
- Implement and maintain analytical platforms in the cloud, aligned with business needs and defined architectures.
- Apply DataOps and DevOps practices, optimizing the operation and deployment of solutions.
- Drive innovation in data engineering, incorporating emerging technologies such as Big Data, Cloud, GenAI, and advanced automation.
- Collaborate in cost and resource optimization, ensuring efficient use of platforms and services.
Qualifications
A Data Engineer passionate about innovation and process optimization, who leads the design, development, and maintenance of data processing and flow systems for the DA HUB of SPLatam.
This role is key to enabling analytical platforms in the cloud, ensuring data quality, and promoting modern practices such as DataOps and DevOps, driving digital transformation and data democratization in the region.
