Job description
Within the Data Project Department of our client, you will be involved in:
GCP Transformation & Trajectory
- Supporting the migration and build-out of Data services to GCP
- Structuring Data Analytics & Data Science architectures
- Contributing to the industrialization of AI / Machine Learning use cases
- Contributing to the adoption and integration of GCP's native AI capabilities
Data Engineering & Development
- Developing robust data pipelines (Python)
- Integrating and operating Google APIs
- Industrializing data flows
- Working on Machine Learning challenges and production deployment
- Implementing Infrastructure as Code practices
Cross-functional collaboration
Working with:
- The Data Prep squad (Alteryx environment)
- The DataViz squad (Power BI / Azure datasets)
- The cross-functional squad (virtualization via Denodo)
- Taking part in Scrum rituals
- Being a force for proposals on simplifying the Data approach
- Contributing to the pooling of platforms while respecting security & IT constraints
Technical leadership
- Providing an overall view of the GCP ecosystem
- Taking part in architecture decisions
- Being the technical reference on Google Data Engineering topics
- Supporting the skills development of teams
Qualifications

You hold an engineering degree or equivalent Master's degree (Bac+5)

You have 10 years of experience in Data Engineering on GCP

You have a strong command of the Google ecosystem (data services, APIs, ML)

You have experience in Python development

You have a good understanding of Data Cloud architectures

You have experience in Infrastructure as Code
