Job Description
As a Data Developer at Ubisoft Montreal, you will join the Player domain within Ubisoft’s Data Office. You will be responsible for designing and delivering data pipelines that meet high standards of quality, performance, and maintainability, from writing technical specifications to deployment. You will collaborate closely with architecture teams to ensure alignment with product strategy and business use cases.
What you will do
- Design and maintain reliable and high-performance data pipelines
- Transform product analyses into detailed technical specifications in collaboration with business analysts
- Work with architects to design efficient data models and tables
- Define and track data quality indicators to ensure integrity and consistency
- Write and maintain test documentation, including unit and functional tests
- Monitor production environments and contribute to their stability
- Communicate project progress clearly, tailored to the target audience
- Detect and resolve issues proactively
- Design and optimize extraction, loading, and transformation (ETL) processes
- Ensure data solutions are aligned with product strategy and business needs
Qualifications
- Excellent command of the SQL language
- Experience with the PySpark library for data processing
- Experience with cloud data platforms, such as Databricks or Snowflake
- Good command of a version control tool, such as Git
- Skills in designing efficient data processing workflows
- Experience in implementing data quality indicators
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- Autonomy and a sense of responsibility
