Job Description
As a Data Developer at Ubisoft Montreal, you will join the Player domain within Ubisoft's data office. You will be responsible for designing and delivering data processing pipelines that meet high standards of quality, performance, and maintainability, from writing technical specifications to production deployment. You will work closely with architecture teams to ensure alignment with product strategy and business needs.
What You Will Do
- Design and maintain reliable and high-performing data processing pipelines
- Transform product analytics into detailed technical specifications in collaboration with business analysts
- Work with architects to design efficient data models and tables
- Define and track data quality metrics to ensure integrity and consistency
- Write and maintain test documentation, including unit and functional tests
- Monitor production environments and contribute to their stability
- Communicate project progress clearly, tailored to your audience
- Detect and resolve issues proactively
- Design and optimize data extraction, loading, and transformation processes
- Ensure data solutions align with product strategy and business needs
Qualifications
- Excellent proficiency in SQL
- Experience with the PySpark library for data processing
- Experience with cloud data platforms, such as Databricks or Snowflake
- Good proficiency with a version control tool, such as Git
- Skills in designing efficient data processing workflows
- Experience implementing data quality metrics
- Strong communication skills and collaborative spirit
- Autonomy and sense of responsibility
