Crypto-Asset Compliance Specialist

Overview

Within the Crypto-Asset structure of Compliance Financial Markets and Investment Banking, you will oversee the applicable regulations for Digital Asset activities, providing support on business Division initiatives and contributing to the identification of applicable regulatory requirements and the definition of necessary control and oversight solutions.

What will your activities be

  • Monitor the evolution of the applicable regulatory framework, with particular attention to MiCAR regulations, Fintech Decree and DLT pilot regime
  • Monitor the evolution of the Digital Asset market in terms of MiCAR/MiFID DLT instruments, markets and technologies
  • Support any innovative projects, indicating applicable regulations and requirements and collaborating in the definition of operational and control safeguards necessary to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry best practices
  • Provide support to Process owners/Control Owners for the definition and design of first-level controls and formulate proposals for second-level controls
  • Provide support in defining corrective actions in case of any shortcomings or gaps
  • Contribute to interactions with competent authorities

Experience required

Work experience of at least 2-3 years at financial intermediaries or other companies active in Crypto-Asset or tokenized financial instruments, in compliance, AML, or legal roles.

  • Degree in Economics/Law with a focus on digital skills and/or Crypto-Asset or Degree in Engineering or related field with a focus on new digital technologies, blockchain and Crypto-Asset
  • Interest in financial markets and curiosity for new digital realities
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language
