Job Description
This role is a central part of Experian's commitment to empowering consumers. The goal is to ensure that individuals can access their financial data, understand it, and make balanced decisions—which in turn is essential for a healthy economy.
This position is intended as a "Minijob" or student assistant role with a scope of 10–20 hours per week and is limited to six months. The work can be performed exclusively on-site at our Düsseldorf office.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Direct contact with consumers as the face of Experian to provide them with important information regarding their financial situation
- Processing information requests in compliance with data protection laws to ensure the highest level of confidentiality and security
- Supporting our Consumer Services team with email inquiries while maintaining our high standards
- Contributing to our mission of creating a better future through technology—in every interaction with our stakeholders (e.g., using our ticketing system)
- Participating in training to stay up to date on bureaucratic processes and to continuously improve the customer experience
Qualifications
- Experience in customer service and/or administrative work
- Training in office communication or comparable knowledge is an advantage
- Very good written and spoken German skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically
- Knowledge of data protection regulations and a commitment to complying with them
- Responsible handling of data
- Reliable, structured, and independent way of working
- Experience with SharePoint and Confluence is an advantage
