Job Description

This role is a central part of Experian's commitment to empowering consumers. The goal is to ensure that individuals have access to their financial data, understand it, and can make balanced decisions – which in turn is essential for a healthy economy.

This position is to be performed as a mini-job or student assistant role with a scope of 10–20 hours per week and is limited to six months.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Direct contact with consumers as the face of Experian to provide them with important information about their financial situation
  • Processing information requests in compliance with data protection laws to ensure the highest level of confidentiality and security
  • Supporting our Consumer Services team with email inquiries while maintaining our high standards
  • Contributing to our mission to create a better future through technology – in every interaction with our stakeholders (e.g., using our ticketing system)
  • Participating in training to stay up to date on administrative processes and continuously improve the customer experience

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service and/or administrative work
  • Training in office communication or comparable knowledge is an advantage
  • Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically
  • Knowledge of data protection regulations and commitment to their compliance
  • Responsible handling of data
  • Reliable, structured, and independent working style
  • Experience with SharePoint and Confluence is an advantage
