Compliance Officer - Financial Markets and Investment Banking

Overview

Within Compliance Financial Markets and Investment Banking, you will join the team that oversees compliance profiles of regulatory reporting information flows directed to Authorities or Markets, across the various regulatory areas applicable to the Bank, namely MiFID, CSDR, EMIR, SFTR, MMSR, DFA and LTR, which reflect the investment, trading, settlement or financing activities carried out by the Bank, assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of the policies, business processes adopted, as well as the measures taken to remedy any deficiencies identified in the fulfillment of the required obligations.

What your activities will be

  • oversee the compliance profiles of regulatory reporting information flows under the office's responsibility directed to Authorities, initially for the MiFID and EMIR areas;
  • continuously identify the regulations applicable to the Bank and assess their impact on business processes and procedures for the areas under supervision;
  • provide advisory support in business and organizational projects and in the preventive analysis of new financial products/instruments to be launched for commercialization, in order to ensure their compliance with applicable regulations on regulatory reporting;
  • promote correct conduct by staff, providing appropriate training activities on the regulations under your responsibility.

Who we are looking for

If you have the following characteristics, we are waiting for you:

  • Master's degree in economics/finance;
  • in-depth knowledge of the reference regulations relating to MiFIR and EMIR regulatory reporting;
  • excellent knowledge of the English language, written and spoken;
  • good proficiency with Office Automation packages (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).

The following represent preferred qualifications, in addition to the requirements outlined above: knowledge of products, in particular derivative financial instruments, processes related to the provision of investment services, as well as SFTR, MMSR and DFA regulations.
