Responsibilities:

  • Continuous monitoring of compliance with requirements regarding Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing (AML/CFT) within the Bank;
  • Participation in the development and updating of internal policies, procedures, and regulations in the field of AML/CFT;
  • Performing level II controls and analyzing related results, with reporting of findings and recommendations to management;
  • Evaluating new products and services from the perspective of compliance and AML/CFT risks;
  • Monitoring and updating international and national sanctions lists (OFAC, UN, EU, etc.);
  • Preparing and managing reports to competent authorities;
  • Providing consultancy to Bank employees in the field of Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing;
  • Participating in the organization and conduct of internal training in the field of AML/CFT.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in economics or law;
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the financial-banking field;
  • Solid knowledge of the financial-banking field and regulations regarding Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing;
  • Knowledge of FATCA, international sanctions, and embargoes is an advantage;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
