Overview
Within Compliance Governance & Controls, you will have an integrated role between overseeing regulatory developments and developing risk assessment methodologies.
You will have a cross-functional and methodological view of Compliance, with direct involvement in regulatory monitoring activities, risk assessment, and the production of analysis and reporting tools to support management.
What your activities will be
During your internship, you will have the opportunity to assist and support the team in the following activities:
- Support for the analysis and monitoring of national and European regulations and regulatory initiatives.
- Classification of regulations by scope, relevance, and impact, contributing to regulatory heatmaps and outlooks.
- Support for the management of the regulatory Control Room, including collection, tracking, and prioritization of initiatives.
- Contribution to Compliance Risk Assessment activities, collection of risk assessments, and application of scoring methodologies.
- Collaboration on the maintenance and evolution of the methodological framework, metrics, and evaluation criteria.
- Updating of risk maps, dashboards, and aggregated risk views.
- Preparation of reports and summary materials for management and committees.
- Support for the integration of compliance risk into corporate frameworks and interaction with corporate functions.
Who we are looking for
If you have the following characteristics, we are waiting for you:
Degree in:
• Law (specialization in banking/financial law)
• Economics and Finance / Banking & Finance
• Economics of Financial Markets and Intermediaries
• Statistics / Data Science / Mathematics
• Management Engineering
Interest in regulatory, compliance, and risk management topics;
Basic knowledge (even academic) of:
• European regulatory frameworks
• risk assessment processes
• scoring logic and risk metrics
• internal control processes
Excellent knowledge of the Office suite (in particular Excel-data analysis and PowerPoint);
Good knowledge of the English language.
