Regardless of where our consumers ultimately make a purchase, our stores are always a window into our great brands.

The Visual Merchandiser plays a key role in achieving these standards. They are responsible for maintaining brand identity, promoting product, and delivering an exceptional elevated standard of display and visual presentation in windows and throughout the store.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the management of the visual proposition by promoting brand merchandise and delivering an exceptional standard of visual presentation, both in-store and in windows.
  • Stay informed of sales budgets, mystery shops, VM visits, and model store.
  • Install all window schemes to an excellent standard and maintain on a daily basis.
  • Style all mannequins; these can be dressed according to guidelines, local market, and market direction.
  • Participate in staff meetings as needed and keep the team informed of movements, directions, and changes.
  • Implement, with the support of Store Managers, the brand's visual guidelines, taking market direction into consideration.
  • Monitor and support Store Managers and department managers with mapping VM presentation budget allocation and respond accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the VM Coordinator and store managers to map floor space and collection placement, considering the store's options for new and existing product lines.
  • Support pre-planning, delivery, and execution of SALE and Model store to market guideline mapping sales plan with VM Coordinator and Store Managers.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge regarding merchandise to correctly VM and communicate with customers for more effective sales.
  • Support store managers by ensuring the sales team delivers consistent and accurate product replenishment on the sales floor.
  • Support store managers in training the store team on visual execution and standards.
  • Assist the VM Coordinator in implementing, coaching, and training brand and seasonal guidelines within the store.
  • Walk windows daily to identify product challenges and daily presentation standards.
  • Collaborate with key department managers to achieve the best VM standards for the store.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders to understand key planned activities and report back to VM headquarters.
  • Support the delivery of marketing events at the location.
  • Develop strong relationships with other Brand VM and Field VM teams. Contribute to HO VM meetings as needed.
  • Help the VM Coordinator by contributing to model store guidelines.

  • You have retail experience with the ability to follow brand guidelines and understand the basic principles of visual merchandising.
  • You have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships easily.
  • You are a creative, commercially aware, and confident decision-maker who communicates with impact at all levels.
  • You work well with change, can adapt quickly, and work at pace.
  • You have a proactive and solution-oriented mindset that always acts with integrity.
  • You have strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
