Job Description
As part of strategic projects within a banking institution, we are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support business teams in defining, analyzing and implementing their functional requirements.
As a true interface between business and IT teams, you will contribute to project success by ensuring proper understanding of challenges, quality of specifications and consistency of deployed solutions.
- Gather, analyze and challenge business requirements from various stakeholders.
- Write functional specifications, user stories and scoping documents.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements for development teams.
- Lead working sessions and follow-up meetings with business and IT teams.
- Participate in process modeling and user journey mapping.
- Ensure functional monitoring of developments and respond to technical team requests.
- Develop and execute functional testing strategies.
- Write test cases and coordinate business validation phases.
- Analyze, qualify and track anomalies until resolution.
- Support users during deployment and change management phases.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of project practices.
- Perform data analysis and functional controls via SQL queries.
- Participate in functional and technical reviews to secure developments and deliveries.
Qualifications
- Significant experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in the banking sector or other demanding sectors.
- Experience in writing functional specifications and requirements management.
- Good technical knowledge and ability to bridge business and technical teams and communicate with technical teams.
- Knowledge of application development and understanding of IT architectures, as well as good understanding of data flows and inter-application exchanges.
- Experience in code reading, code review or technical analysis appreciated.
- Good command of SQL and ability to perform data analysis and control queries.
- Experience in functional testing, test management and anomaly tracking.
- Mastery of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Mastery of tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or equivalents.
- Bachelor's degree level (Bac+5) or equivalent.
- Fluent English.
