As an AI Practice Lead, you will:

Your Mission
Collaborate with all teams to design, prioritize, and deploy AI initiatives that enrich our talent's capabilities, accelerate delivery, and elevate the quality of our work—all in a sustainable and strategic manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and update the AI roadmap with management, the operations team, and practice leaders, setting clear objectives for efficiency and execution timelines.
- Lead end-to-end execution of AI projects—from discovery and proof of concept (PoC) through deployment and continuous optimization.
- Design and maintain API-driven workflows connecting generative AI models (Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, MidJourney, etc.) to our technology ecosystem (Zapier, ClickUp, Google Cloud Platform).
- Coach and upskill teams through workshops, documentation, and one-on-one sessions, ensuring safe and effective AI adoption in daily work.
- Establish governance frameworks for data privacy, copyright, bias mitigation, and model auditability; chair Bloom's AI Governance Council.
- Measure and report impact (time saved, quality improvements, and recommendations for next steps) to leadership and stakeholders.
- Act as an AI ambassador internally and externally, supporting client pitches and producing case studies that demonstrate our results.
- Stay on top of emerging AI trends and assess their relevance to Bloom's services.
Knowledge and Skills
- 5+ years of experience leading AI, machine learning, or marketing automation programs, with demonstrable efficiency gains.
- Hands-on expertise in Python, REST/GraphQL APIs, LangChain (or similar), vector databases, and cloud AI platforms such as Google Vertex AI or AWS Bedrock.
- Proficiency in Google BigQuery (advanced SQL, data modelling, performance optimization) and experience with marketing data pipeline tools such as Funnel (or similar).
- Proven experience with generative AI tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, MidJourney) and best practices in prompt engineering.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (ClickUp, Jira, etc.).
- Working knowledge of paid media, SEO, creative production, analytics, email, and CRM workflows.
- Excellent communication skills—ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences with clarity and enthusiasm.
- Portfolio or case studies demonstrating AI solutions that accelerated delivery and improved project quality.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience building or contributing to an AI Center of Excellence within an agency or marketing environment.
- Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), model fine-tuning, or synthetic data creation.
- Fluency in English and French, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with our bilingual clients and national and international team members.
