Michigan State University (MSU) is a public land-grant research university in East Lansing, Michigan, founded in 1855 as the pioneer land-grant institution. As MSU describes it, "This type of flexwork is often employees working four ten-hour days and having one day off during the workweek." It is a year-round option, subject to operational needs and supervisor approval.
