CIB Group is a Munich-based software company founded in 1989. It develops document, digitalisation and software solutions — from document capture and conversion to AI and platform engineering — for business and public-sector customers.

CIB is headquartered in Munich, with additional locations and remote-friendly roles (the team spans Munich plus offices in Faro and Las Palmas).
What is the CIB team like?
Around 90 people across software development (Java, frontend, C++, mobile, ML/AI), QA, IT consulting and support.
Work-Life Balance
CIB introduced a company-wide 4-day week in 2021, which it calls "Work-Life-Blending". Long-serving employees reduce their hours further — to 36 hours after 15 years — at the same salary and holiday entitlement. A joint study by Hochschule München and LMU Munich found higher satisfaction and efficiency after the switch.
