Role Overview

As a Creative Production Manager, you will lead the planning, resource allocation, and delivery of Bloom’s creative production projects across social media, paid media, digital, and integrated campaigns.

You will oversee a multidisciplinary team of content creators and designers while orchestrating the operational infrastructure that allows creative work to evolve efficiently, from approved concept to production and delivery. This includes translating creative requirements into production quotes, planning shoots and pre-production, casting and talent coordination, managing creative traffic, supervising external production partners, and controlling production budgets and expenses.

By working closely with the Creative, Social Media, Paid Media, Client Services teams, and external partners, you will find the balance between creative ambition and production realities, ensuring that teams have the right resources, adequate timelines, key information, and the necessary support to deliver high-quality work in an efficient and sustainable manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Planning and Management: Take charge of creative productions, from project scoping to pre-production, production, post-production, quality control, and delivery for photo, video, social, digital, and paid media projects.
  • Team and Resource Management: Manage a team of content creators and designers by ensuring prioritization, workload distribution, capacity management, and daily production needs.
  • Pre-production and Casting: Lead shoot planning, including timelines, logistics, locations, equipment, casting, talent coordination, contracts, authorizations, and usage rights.
  • Creative Traffic: Oversee the flow of design and content projects by ensuring clear visibility on briefs, priorities, timelines, dependencies, approvals, and deliverables.
  • Production Scoping and Estimation: Translate creative concepts into concrete production plans by determining the necessary resources, timelines, talent, partners, and costs before production begins.
  • Budget and Expense Management: Prepare estimates and track production budgets, expenses, fees, freelancers, suppliers, and scope changes.
  • Freelancer and Partner Management: Develop and manage a reliable network of creators, freelancers, studios, suppliers, and production partners to supplement internal capabilities as needed.
  • Cross-team Coordination: Collaborate closely with the Creative, Social Media, Paid Media, and Client Services teams, while contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, documentation, and resource planning.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in creative production, multimedia content production, creative agency production, or a similar production management role.
  • Experience in managing designers, content creators, or other creative production professionals.
  • Hands-on experience in planning photo and video productions (pre-production, casting, talent coordination, production logistics, and post-production workflows).
  • Excellent understanding of production requirements for digital, social media, paid media, and performance-driven creation.
  • Experience in developing production quotes, estimates, and budgets, as well as managing expenses throughout a project.
  • Experience in managing multiple simultaneous creative projects and creative traffic in a fast-paced agency or studio environment.
  • Strong operational sense and the ability to identify production risks, dependencies, and resource needs before they become obstacles.
  • Comfort in negotiating with talent, freelancers, suppliers, and external production partners.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with creative, strategic, media, and client service teams.
  • Practical understanding of the balance between creative ambition, production quality, speed of execution, project scope, and budget.

  • Production Planning & Execution: Own creative productions from scoping through pre-production, production, post-production, QA, and delivery across photo, video, social, paid, and digital projects.
  • Team & Resource Management: Manage a team of content creators and designers, overseeing workload, priorities, task allocation, capacity, and day-to-day production needs.
  • Pre-Production & Casting: Lead shoot planning, including schedules, logistics, locations, equipment, casting, talent coordination, contracts, releases, and usage requirements.
  • Creative Traffic: Oversee design and content workflows, maintaining visibility across briefs, priorities, deadlines, dependencies, approvals, and deliverables.
  • Production Scoping: Translate creative concepts into executable production scopes, identifying required resources, timelines, talent, partners, and costs before production begins.
  • Budget & Expense Management: Develop estimates and track production budgets, expenses, talent fees, freelance costs, vendor invoices, and scope changes.
  • Freelance & Partner Management: Build and manage a reliable network of creators, freelancers, studios, vendors, and production partners to supplement internal capabilities as needed.
  • Cross-Team Operations: Coordinate closely with Creative, Social, Paid Media, and Client Services while continuously improving production processes, documentation, resource planning, and ways of working.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in creative production, multimedia content production, creative agency production, or a related production management role.
  • Experience managing designers, content creators, or other creative production professionals.
  • Hands-on experience planning photo and video productions, including pre-production, casting, talent coordination, production logistics, and post-production workflows.
  • Strong understanding of digital, social, paid media, and performance creative production requirements.
  • Experience developing production scopes, estimates, and budgets and managing expenses throughout a project.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent creative projects and creative traffic in a fast-paced agency or studio environment.
  • Strong operational judgment and the ability to identify production risks, dependencies, and resource requirements before they become blockers.
  • Comfortable negotiating with talent, freelancers, vendors, and external production partners.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively across creative, strategic, media, and client-facing teams.
  • A practical understanding of the balance between creative ambition, production quality, speed, scope, and budget.
