Job Description
What does your daily work routine look like...
• You take overall responsibility and ensure the entire technical infrastructure of the hotel (building, operational, security, HVAC, energy, and event technology)
• You lead and develop your 3-person technician team, including shift planning, conducting employee reviews, and fostering individual strengths and competencies
• You are involved in the annual budgeting process and are responsible for the planning and implementation of maintenance, repair, and investment measures
• You maintain close cooperation with our external service providers and maintenance companies. You organize repair and maintenance appointments in a timely manner and work hand-in-hand with our safety officer, thus ensuring a safe environment for colleagues and guests
• You ensure that all legal requirements and safety standards are met and take care of documentation and inspection records
• Together with your technician team, you ensure that all equipment in the building is functioning at all times and, if not, that a quick remedy is found
• As a trained technician, you keep an overview when one project follows the next and heating and Wi-Fi fail at the same time
Qualifications
Your personality counts more than your resume...
• You have a completed technical education, ideally in the field of building services engineering, and already have several years of professional experience. You preferably bring experience from the hotel industry or a comparable service-oriented environment
• You bring sound specialist knowledge in the areas of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), electrical systems, fire protection, and plumbing
• As a communicative and open character, you enjoy not only working behind the scenes but also being in contact with our guests
• You are IT-savvy and confident in using Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
• In line with our sustainability strategy and ESG goals, you actively contribute new ideas
• You bring not only your skills but also your character
