Job Description

As a Technical Artist, you will be part of a small autonomous team developing an ambitious multiplayer experience on Unreal. We are looking for highly engaged developers, driven by execution, a sense of responsibility, and pride in building something concrete—together.

What You Will Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain real-time visual effects systems in Unreal, including with Niagara
  • Prototype, integrate, iterate, and debug visual effects directly in the editor
  • Collaborate closely with gameplay, animation, and technical design teams
  • Ensure clarity, performance, and scalability of visual effects
  • Optimize effects using levels of detail (LOD), resource pooling, and instancing
  • Define, improve, and document visual effects pipelines and tools
  • Take full responsibility for your systems, from artistic consistency to technical robustness

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Team

  • Solid hands-on experience in technical art in Unreal, with a focus on visual effects
  • Mastery of Niagara, materials, and shaders
  • Good understanding of real-time performance constraints
  • Ability to work and debug effects in real game context
  • Comfort collaborating across multiple disciplines
  • Strong sense of responsibility and quality delivery
  • Ability to balance visual quality and technical constraints
  • Good communication and clear documentation
