THE CHALLENGE

CONTEXT:

Our Pre-Sales Solution Consulting Team is responsible for supporting our sales teams in the pre-sales phases. They provide their expertise in our SaaS platform (product demos) and functional procurement processes (S2C, P2P).

The department in the EMEA zone currently consists of Solution Consultants in individual regions, a VP EMEA, a manager for South EMEA and the DACH region, and a manager for the UK/Nordics team.

ROLE:

We are looking for a dynamic Pre-Sales Solution Consultant to strengthen our team in Frankfurt, who brings experience in our fast-paced technology environment and understands complex business problems of our customers and develops solutions together with them. Our Solution Consultants are analytical and product-oriented, and passionate about contributing to the optimization of the procurement process. Our Solution Consultants are creative, collaborative, and build long-term customer relationships.

YOUR TASKS IN DETAIL

  • You work closely with the Sales Team in the DACH region and accompany the entire sales cycle
  • Technical analysis of potential new customers and implementation of captured requirements into concrete solution scenarios
  • You serve as sales support for the product and know internal processes
  • Participation and review of RFI and RFP
  • Creation of customer references
  • Co-development of new ideas for further development of our portfolio
  • Willingness to travel - especially within Central Europe.

YOUR PROFILE

If you have the experience and strengths listed below, this position could be exactly right for you:

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Training or degree in business or technical field and 5+ years of experience in customer-oriented positions, ideally in a software environment.
  • Experience in consulting, procurement, presales, solution engineering, customer success, or software implementation.
  • Technological affinity with the ability to understand complex applications and initial AI concepts.
  • Strong analytical and investigative approach to solving customer problems and aligning business and technology objectives.
  • Convincing presentation skills at management level, results orientation, and knowledge in the manufacturing sector is an advantage

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent German and excellent English skills, French language skills is a plus
  • Your personality will make the difference: good organizational skills, commitment, sense of challenge, autonomous working, and analytical thinking
