Job Description
As a software developer specializing in machine learning at Ubisoft Montreal, you will contribute to the creation of reliable and scalable systems that protect the trust and security of our players.
You will be part of the Consumer Data domain within Ubisoft's Data Office, whose mission is to use data to support players throughout their journey in a safe and respectful environment.
This position combines applied research and software development, with a clear objective of production deployment.
What You Will Do
- Take ownership of end-to-end projects, from design to real-world use
- Design, develop, and maintain services and application interfaces for data and model sharing
- Implement large-scale data processing workflows
- Deploy and operate scalable cloud infrastructures
- Contribute to improving platform quality and reliability
- Participate in exploratory projects to test new approaches in data and machine learning
- Write clear, efficient, and maintainable code suited for large-scale use
- Apply modern deployment and monitoring practices for machine learning systems
- Collaborate closely with data and machine learning specialists to put models into production
Qualifications
- Strong skills in software development or data engineering, particularly with Python or Rust
- Experience creating and using Web service interfaces
- Practical knowledge of cloud environments and containerized systems
- Ability to connect the big picture to technical details
- Collaborative mindset and clear and respectful communication
- Functional knowledge of machine learning, including advanced models
- Experience in deploying predictive models to production
- Knowledge of large-scale data processing tools or platform operations, a plus
- Professional proficiency in English
