Role Overview

As an SEO Specialist, you will work on the development and implementation of 360 SEO strategies (technical, content, local, SXO, mobile, etc.) on institutional and e-commerce sites, as well as on large national and international accounts. Your team spirit and your desire to push the limits of SEO even further by collaborating with Bloom’s various departments will allow us to accomplish incredible projects.

This is a newly created position linked to the growth of our team.

Key Responsibilities

Technical

  • Perform technical audits, provide recommendations, and execute implementations;
  • Perform advanced website analysis: site speed, CDNs, cookies, site architecture, loading speed, accessibility, crawlability, etc.;
  • Implement technical SEO recommendations on the client's website;
  • Produce and interpret SEO performance reports using industry platforms and programs.

SEO Content

  • Create site-wide content strategies;
  • Implement optimized keyword research;
  • Implement content optimizations to increase SEO traffic and contribute to improving user engagement;
  • Create marketing strategies that support marketing initiatives;
  • Lead on-page optimization strategies.

Authority and Online Presence Management

  • Optimize local SEO platforms with Google and local management tools;
  • Perform website authority analysis and provide recommendations on increasing authority in the client's sector.

Client Responsibility

  • Manage a portfolio of SEO clients;
  • Develop and maintain client relationships;
  • Communicate regularly with clients and understand their business objectives;
  • Consult clients on effective performance solutions;
  • Build and deliver reports with advanced insights and recommendations.

Other responsibilities

  • Train junior members of the SEO team (a few hours per month);
  • Develop team knowledge as part of the internal training program;
  • Provide constructive ideas and suggestions on improving services;
  • Contribute to the development of new SEO services with the product manager.

Knowledge and skills

  • Over 3 years of experience in an SEO role;
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a relevant field;
  • Experience gained within a digital marketing agency;
  • Ability to perform detailed SEO audits to identify opportunities for improvement on websites;
  • Ability to analyze competitors' SEO strategies and derive insights to improve site performance;
  • Ability to manage multiple SEO projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines;
  • Bilingual (French and English) both orally and in writing;
  • Comfortable speaking to present SEO deliverables directly to clients;
  • Ability to interpret data, establish clear reports, and make strategic decisions based on this data;
  • Skills in writing content optimized for search engines, identifying strategic keywords, and integrating on-page SEO practices;
  • Development of long-term content strategies to meet user needs and improve organic search rankings;
  • Mastery of advanced SEO tools – Advanced use of tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc., for backlink, keyword, and website performance analysis.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS;
  • Ability to develop custom SEO strategies;
  • High proficiency in the Google suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.);
  • Advanced analytical skills using Google Console, Google Analytics, Google My Business;
  • Experience with WordPress, Shopify, and Magento;
  • Experience with tracking and Google Tag Manager;
  • Demonstrate measurable success through the achievement of client goals: Increased sales and profitability;
  • Demonstrate a structured and methodical work method, with the ability to handle client requests and prioritize tasks effectively;
  • Advanced Google Analytics certification.
