Job Description
We are a small, autonomous team developing an ambitious multiplayer experience on Unreal Engine. We are looking for highly committed developers driven by execution, a sense of responsibility, and the pride of building something concrete - together.
What you will do
- Compile and understand the project's sound intentions and list development needs.
- Analyze existing features in the sound engine and determine if they are suitable for the project's intentions.
- Propose improvements to the audio pipeline by identifying project-level needs, designing and implementing new systems as needed.
- Manage and challenge the memory and CPU resource budget for audio.
- Work closely with the Audio Design team to enable them to achieve design intentions while respecting the allocated budget.
- Program in a clear and structured manner while being aware of performance, maintenance, and compatibility requirements.
- Validate and verify whether newly developed systems meet project intentions and do not create inconsistencies with existing code.
- Identify and fix sound "bugs" identified by other departments and the quality assurance team.
- Document your work to transfer knowledge and allow users (other departments) to understand how to use new sound systems and features.
- Perform all other related tasks.
Qualifications
What you bring

Minimum of 5 years of experience in sound programming or any other relevant experience.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering or any other equivalent training.
