Accountabilities: Evaluate student project submissions using established rubrics and supplemental materials, ensuring assessments are fair, accurate, consistent, and aligned with course expectations. Provide encouraging, specific, and actionable feedback that clearly identifies areas for improvement and supports students through resubmission and mastery. Maintain in-depth knowledge of the assigned marketing curriculum and stay current with the requirements of each project within the workload. Respond promptly to student inquiries and return completed evaluations within 48 hours of submission. Partner with academic leadership to proactively reach out to students who may need additional academic assistance. Participate actively in the online Reviewer community, group meetings, and virtual collaboration with peers and managers. Support academic integrity processes, including validating and processing potential academic integrity violations. Contribute to quality assurance activities, project improvement initiatives, and other academic projects as assigned. Adapt to evolving responsibilities and support additional duties as needed within the academic environment.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a closely related field is required; equivalent professional experience cannot substitute for the degree. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with competency-based education. Strong understanding of marketing concepts and the ability to evaluate student work against clearly defined learning outcomes. Excellent written communication, proofreading, and feedback skills, with the ability to make complex concepts understandable and actionable. Strong attention to detail and the ability to apply evaluation criteria consistently and objectively. Ability to manage deadlines effectively and return student evaluations within established service expectations. A respectful, encouraging, and student-centered approach, with the ability to provide constructive feedback while maintaining a positive learning experience. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with managers and peers. Online teaching experience is preferred. Candidates must reside and work from an approved U.S. state and have reliable internet access and a dedicated, appropriately equipped workspace.
