Procurement Specialist

Tasks you will become an expert in:

  • Conducting supplier competitions, coordinating and managing tenders and requests for proposals in accordance with internal procurement rules.
  • Independently conducting tender procedures and leading supplier negotiations.
  • Participating in the preparatory phase of procurements by assessing and evaluating departmental needs.
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities, validating requirements, and proposing optimization/cost rationalization measures.
  • Developing procurement strategies for specific topics, identifying potential suppliers, and evaluating suppliers.
  • Achieving the most favorable contractual terms for the company and conducting price negotiations.
  • Analyzing and evaluating offers, and handling procurement-related complaints.
  • Performing administrative and decision-preparation tasks, preparing decision materials in Hungarian and English.
  • Contract management.
  • Active cooperation with internal clients and professional support.
  • Continuous cooperation with parent and sister company procurement departments.

This is for you if:

  • You have at least 5-7 years of relevant professional experience.
  • You want to acquire further professional knowledge in non-IT procurement.
  • You have a higher education degree in economics or engineering.
  • Your English language skills are at negotiation level and you actively use them in your work.
  • You can independently manage projects with great precision.
  • You are characterized by strategic vision, structured and analytical thinking.
  • You are not intimidated by preparing complex spreadsheets and presentations.
  • You can leverage your problem-solving and advocacy skills through appropriate communication.
  • You perform your work reliably and with great accuracy even when handling parallel tasks.
  • You are a proactive person.
