THE CHALLENGE

CONTEXT:

Are you passionate about driving innovation and ensuring the successful adoption of cutting-edge solutions? Join our dynamic team as a Procurement Lead and take on a key role in shaping our customers' procurement ecosystems.

THE ROLE:

In this role, you will work closely with customers, partners, and the product team to model complex procurement processes, optimize functional solutions, and drive continuous improvement. Your functional expertise is critical to improving our customers' spend management and ensuring their long-term success.

YOUR TASKS IN DETAIL

● Leading end-to-end implementations of functional workstreams (Procure-to-Pay, Sourcing to Contracts, Supplier Relationship Management) from project kickoff to production go-live.

● Introducing our agentic AI solutions by leveraging your deep procurement domain expertise and natural language (prompting and functional logic) to specifically tailor AI behavior to the customer's individual business context.

● Close collaboration with the Solution Architect during the design phase: communicating best practices to customers or partners, product demonstrations, fit-gap analyses, and full functional responsibility for the design document.

● Working closely with Solution Architects by sharing best practices with customers or partners, product demonstrations, and assuming full functional responsibility for the design document.

● Supporting partners during the implementation phase through design feedback as well as conducting configuration reviews during implementation.

● Taking responsibility for the delivery and deployment plan and ensuring a successful go-live.

● Configuring the solution and coordinating activities with other team members to ensure project milestones are met.

● Incorporating customer feedback to evaluate and further develop product features.

● Ensuring PMO (Project Management Office) activities and supporting change management initiatives to promote end-user adoption.

YOUR PROFILE

If you possess the experience and strengths listed below, this position might be just right for you:

Knowledge and Experience:

● Completed degree (BS/BA, MBA preferred) in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a comparable field, or an international equivalent.

● At least 5 years of functional experience in Procurement, SRM, or Supply Chain.

● Prior experience with software or SaaS implementation projects is an advantage.

● Proven experience in managing digital transformation using leading cloud procurement platforms, as well as a strong ability to use natural language to control AI/automation tools.

● Experience in managing customer and partner relationships, leading workshops, and acting as a trusted business advisor.

● Deep functional knowledge of the entire Source-to-Pay (S2P) lifecycle combined with excellent project management skills.

● Relevant certifications in procurement or project management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, PMP) are highly desirable.

Soft Skills

● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire customers in workshops and build strong, collaborative partnerships.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and collaborate closely with customers and partners.

● Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, with an independent and flexible working style.

● Ability to coach or mentor colleagues in procurement and spend management processes.

● Very good German and English language skills.
