The Ideal Candidate

You are a self-motivated, curious, and organized expert who takes full ownership of the accounts you manage, acting as a true business partner to our clients.

With a minimum of 3 years of agency experience, you have a proven track record of managing significant budgets across Google and Meta with a relentless focus on ROI. You don't just "set and forget" campaigns; you are proactive in your accounts weekly—identifying performance dips before the client does, troubleshooting complex tracking or catalog issues, and ensuring every decision is backed by GA4 data.

You are a confident communicator who can explain the "why" behind the numbers, stay ahead of platform betas, and serve as a technical reference for the team to ensure we are always delivering an exceptional client experience.

Role Overview

As a Paid Media Specialist, you are the hands-on engine behind our clients' growth. You don't just "monitor" accounts; you take full ownership of the campaign lifecycle—from planning, technical architecture, and daily budget pacing to granular troubleshooting.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams (Account Managers, Supervisors, and Creative) to align media tactics with broader business goals.

Your focus is on driving measurable ROI across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and TikTok (and more) for a diverse portfolio of Ecommerce, B2B, and B2C clients spanning multiple industries. You are a technical power-user who translates complex platform data into clear, actionable results for your clients.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Comprehensive Media Plans: Craft, implement, and critically challenge media plans to ensure they align with ambitious client KPIs.
  • Multi-Platform Mastery: Create and manage high-performing PPC and Paid Social campaigns (Google, Meta, Microsoft, TikTok, LinkedIn) with a relentless focus on ROI.
  • Algorithmic & Manual Optimization: Leverage AI and machine learning while maintaining human strategic control through performance-improving optimizations.
  • Innovation & Betas: Identify and implement new opportunities through platform betas and industry best practices to stay ahead of the curve.

Data, Tracking & Analysis

  • Actionable Insights: Analyze data across various platforms to provide strategic adjustments and business-first recommendations, not just data points.
  • Tracking Troubleshooting: Act as the technical lead for troubleshooting tracking issues (e.g., catalogs, pixels, CAPI) to ensure data integrity.
  • GA4 Integration: Utilize comprehensive knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and other tracking tools to inform every strategic decision.

Client Leadership & Partnership

  • Business Partner Mindset: Think beyond media metrics to understand a client's broader business objectives, guiding significant budget allocations toward their North Star goals.
  • Leading Discussions: Take a leadership role in client communications, confidently presenting media plans, budget shifts, and performance reports.
  • Account Autonomy: Proactively monitor accounts on a weekly basis, flagging risks and identifying growth opportunities before they are requested.

Internal Leadership & Process

  • Best Practice Champion: Act as a reference for the team by actively promoting Bloom's Best Practices and ensuring internal process compliance (Flow sheets, Time-tracking, etc.).
  • Peer Support: Foster a collaborative environment by sharing learnings, new features, and client trends with the broader team.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work seamlessly with Account Managers and Strategists to support the broader agency team.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

Technical Expertise & Platforms

  • Proven Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in a similar role, with a track record of managing monthly budgets of $100K+.
  • Search & Social Excellence: Advanced mastery of Google Ads (Search, PMax, YouTube), Meta Ads, Microsoft Ads, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Platform Assets: Experience with DV360, Pinterest Ads, and Snapchat Ads is considered a significant asset.
  • Certifications: Up-to-date Google Ads and Meta Blueprint certifications are an asset.

Data & Measurement

  • Advanced Analytics: Deep understanding of GA4, attribution models, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Proficient in solving simple to complex tracking and catalog issues.
  • Reporting: Ability to present complex data with ease and confidence to non-technical stakeholders.

Soft Skills

  • Professional Maturity: Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple high-stakes accounts simultaneously and knows when to proactively ask for support.
  • Autonomous Drive: A self-motivated strategic thinker who takes initiative and requires limited supervision.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and French, to communicate effectively with our bilingual clients and international/national team members.
  • Precision: Great attention to detail and a commitment to the "Bloom standard" of quality deliverables.
