Overview
Within the Chief Risk Officer function, you will support the Credit Risk Financial Measurement team in reviewing IFRS 9 methodological issues identified during a recent ECB inspection, with a focus on the SICR and Behavioural Maturity frameworks. You will have the opportunity to deepen your understanding of the methodologies adopted by Intesa Sanpaolo and contribute to analysis, review, and implementation activities necessary to address ECB guidance and help resolve the identified findings.
What will your activities be
During your internship, you will have the opportunity to work alongside and support the team in the following activities:
- Critical analysis of the SICR and Behavioural Maturity methodologies adopted by ISP;
- Detailed analysis of the findings formulated by the Regulator in the context of the OSI IFRS 9 inspection, in order to understand their rationale and identify the main areas for intervention;
- Formulation and implementation of alternative methodologies to address the findings raised by the ECB;
- Assessment of the impacts arising from the proposed methodological changes;
- Preparation, updating, and integration of methodological documentation and evidence supporting remediation activities.
Who we are looking for
If you have the following characteristics, we are waiting for you:
- Master's degree in statistics, computer science, mathematics, Data Science, or Engineering
- Knowledge and application of statistical methodologies and data analysis tools (e.g. data mining, machine learning)
- Knowledge of programming languages (Python)
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
