ROLE PROFILE – CORPORATE FINANCE EXECUTIVE
Why join us?
As a Corporate Finance Executive at Clive Owen LLP, you’ll be part of a growing and ambitious team advising some of the most entrepreneurial and exciting businesses across our region. This is a hands‑on role where no two days are the same — from supporting M&A transactions and fundraises to building financial models and working directly with clients and professional advisers.
If you’re commercially minded, enjoy variety, and want to build your corporate finance career in a supportive, collaborative environment, you’ll thrive here.
What you’ll be doing
- Support the delivery of a broad range of corporate finance assignments, including mergers and acquisitions, valuations, fundraising and financial due diligence.
- Work closely with partners to support M&A transactions from initial planning through to completion, liaising with clients, lawyers, funders and other professional advisers.
- Prepare valuations for a range of purposes, including standalone engagements and to inform strategic transaction decisions.
- Build and develop financial projection models, working with clients to identify, challenge and refine underlying assumptions.
- Draft high‑quality Pathfinders, Information Memoranda and other transaction documents as part of a business sale or fundraising process.
- Undertake research and analysis on potential acquirers or targets, collaborating with internal and external contacts across the UK and overseas, and present findings clearly.
- Support fundraising assignments by identifying appropriate funding sources, liaising with funders and managing information requests.
- Assist with financial due diligence assignments alongside the wider Clive Owen team.
- Contribute to pitches through research, analysis and supporting materials.
- Share ideas to improve systems, processes and ways of working and build a professional network as an ambassador for the firm.
