Job Description

Within Vantage Studios in Montreal, a Ubisoft subsidiary, you will report to the Vice President, Legal Affairs of Vantage Studios and be dedicated to the portfolio of three franchises: Assassin's Creed, Rainbow Six, and Far Cry. • Structure, negotiate, and secure a broad spectrum of agreements (services, licenses, distribution, partnerships), in French and English, in international law, at the heart of video game, content, media, and technology issues
  • Provide pragmatic and strategic legal advice in a fast-paced and sometimes changing environment, supporting decision-making by teams
  • Train and empower Vantage Studios teams on legal fundamentals (IP, contracts, risk awareness), with a pedagogical and business-oriented approach
  • Work in a cross-functional and international manner, with stakeholders at all levels of seniority, and contribute to global projects (with possible travel between Montreal and Paris)
  • Contribute to managing pre-contentious situations, in close coordination with external counsel, with an anticipatory and solution-oriented approach
  • Ensure active monitoring of legal, regulatory, and technological developments that may impact Ubisoft and the video game industry
