Job Description
The Community Developer will be responsible for creating and developing our communities around Ubisoft games. You will need to demonstrate strong mastery of communication with players, game improvement and feedback cycles, as well as the implementation and monitoring of best practices.
This role will place strong emphasis on collecting and sharing player feedback to improve Rainbow Six Siege. You will work closely with production teams to ensure that player feedback positively influences development and communication, and helps shape the future of the brand. You will also provide guidance to members of cross-functional teams, facilitating collaborative planning and implementation of engagement initiatives to high quality standards. As a member of the global community team, this role will be integrated with key development studios.
KEY MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish player feedback cycles and provide insights to production and publishing teams to influence gameplay experience, foster player retention, and contribute to message positioning and marketing campaigns.
- Act as a spokesperson for Rainbow Six Siege. Coordinate community-focused events, including but not limited to: fan studio visits or exclusive gaming sessions to gather player feedback.
- Develop and implement strategic community plans across various content tactics that support production objectives and strengthen overall marketing strategy.
- Act as the primary point of contact for player needs within production and publishing teams to positively influence development and communication positioning on behalf of our players and business objectives.
- Manage and produce internal reports on feedback, community activity, and expectations.
- Coordinate communication, activities, and initiatives with multiple international departments to ensure message consistency and uniformity.
- Leverage community managers, cross-functional teams, and partner resources to create relevant content for our players (e.g.: blogs, podcasts, interviews, infographics, etc.).
- Collaborate with the portfolio social media manager to define and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to content to demonstrate the success and return on investment of community programs and content.
- International travel may be required.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Experience in online community management and developing or implementing strategic plans that have demonstrated effectiveness in a professional context.
- Proven experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders to analyze and implement feedback.
- Fluency in English.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, TikTok, Discord, etc.) is required.
- Experience working in a demanding production environment with multiple deadlines, success metrics, and stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of building and maintaining growth in video game communities, as well as developing and implementing strategic player engagement plans.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience organizing events is a major asset.
- Experience with FPS games.
- Experience creating digital content (videos, photos, podcasts, etc.) is a major asset.
